Pay Range: $26.71 to $40.06

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Maintenance department is looking for well-rounded Maintenance Technicians. Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus!
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of modern automated process systems and support equipment on our Deforest WI campus.
Regular tasks include:
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Forklift maintenance.
- Communicate with operators and management team.
- Ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved.
- Perform emergency maintenance as required.
- Coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs.
- Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Automation experience and/or training is a plus.
- Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices.
- Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects/tasks.
- Ability to support and meet department deadlines.
- Possess good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics and manuals.
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus.
- All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of standard maintenance concepts, practices and procedures is a plus.
Physical qualifications: stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds frequently; lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule: Multiple shifts and schedules available.
